Too Funny...
MELANIE (age 5) asked her Granny how old she was. Granny replied she was so old she didn't remember any more. Melanie said, "If you don't remember you must look in the back of your panties. Mine say five to six ."
STEVEN (age 3) hugged and kissed his Mom good night. "I love you so muchthat when you die I'm going to bury you outside my bedroom window."
BRITTANY (age 4) had an earache and wanted a pain killer. She tried in vainto take the lid off the bottle. Seeing her frustration, her Mom explained it was a child-proof cap and she'd have to open it for her. Eyes wide with wonder, the little girl asked: "How does it know it'sme?"
SUSAN(age 4) was drinking juice when she got the hiccups. "Please don't give me this juice again," she said, "It makes my teeth cough."
DJ (age 4) stepped onto the bathroom scale and asked: "How much do I cost?"
MARC (age 4) was engrossed in a young couple that were hugging and kissing in a restaurant. Without taking his eyes off them, he asked his dad: "Why is he whispering in her mouth?"
CLINTON(age 5) was in his bedroom looking worried. When his Mom asked what was troubling him, he replied, "I don't know what'll happen with this bed when I get married. How will my wife fit in?"
JAMES(age 4) was listening to a Bible story. His dad read: "The man named Lot was warned to take his wife and flee out of the city but his wife looked back and was turned to salt." Concerned, James asked: "What happened to the flea?"

Great Quote
I just read this great quote which said, "Never say someone was reduced to tears, but rather say they were elevated."

Did You Know for V-Day?
- 110 million roses, the majority red, will be sold and delivered within a three-day time period.
- California produces 60 percent of American roses, but the vast number sold on Valentine's Day in the United States are imported, mostly from South America.
- 15% of U.S. women send themselves flowers on Valentine's Day.
- About 1 billion Valentine's Day cards are exchanged each year. That's the largest seasonal card-sending occasion of the year, next to Christmas.
- Hallmark has over 1330 different cards specifically for Valentine's Day.
- More than 35 million heart-shaped boxes of chocolate will be sold for Valentine's Day.
- The Italian city of Verona, where Shakespeare's lovers Romeo and Juliet lived, receives about 1,000 letters addressed to Juliet every Valentine's Day.
- About 3% of pet owners will give Valentine's Day gifts to their pets

Wow!
What a difference a year makes. This time last year we were just begining rehearsals for Love Makes the World Go 'Round, Beauty and the Beast was merely a goal and the Christmas show didn't even exist- not to mention a few other important things didn't exist... really important. But now, Footloose is getting ready to take off, if all goes as planned , Aida is finally going to be on our stage and Annie Oakly will be firing away (which is, a show I swore I would never do- I must be softening in my old age). Looking back at our last "season" I am proud of all of our choices- especially the really important ones.

Eternal Embrace

I found this interesting picture on yahoo news today. It is kind of gross, yet at the same time very sweet and heart-warming. Archeologists discovered these skeletons embracing one another and suppose they are several thousand years old. Gets you in the gut, doesn't it? Hints of Aida and Radames- eh?
