Posting Again

It's been a while, but I'm back to posting, mainly because I've not had mush to write about. When working on a show you think, "Could my life be any busier?" But you realize after it is done that if you weren't working on a show something else would fill that space of time. I thought I would be able to relax a little, but I've decided it is not in my capacity to relax. I did do some fun things however, like eating in a really cool restaraunt, saw a couple of good movies, got chauffered around one evening while eating sheese and crackers, took the most frightening ride of my life in a bug that has neon underlights and took it to the next level. Don't misunderstand my "it". Look at Amanda's blog and you'll know what I mean- more on that later. I'm taking the rest of this week easier, other than today I start my job slinging some Hog Wild. That seems to be the only way I'm ever going to see my family anymore. Some people relish in downtime- I'm not one of those, so I say bring on the summer show!!!

Final Dress

Tonight is the final dress rehearsal for Footloose. After over a year of planning, arranging and re-arranging, people coming and going, ideas that did work, ideas that didn't work and alot of sweat- finally it is time to have fun and put on a show. This time tomorrow I will have had my Burger King and will be waiting patiently... ok, maybe not so patiently. It is a funny thing, in the weeks leading up to the show I am usually very hyper. Right before the show I get really quiet and mellow. It's my calm before the storm.

Things are coming along nicely. We had a great rehearsal Sunday night but the nlost a lot of our energy on Monday. Hopefully everyone got a good night's sleep and will be ready to put on a show tonight. One week from to night is the first complete dress.
